The HOA Board has made the tough decision to increase the annual assessment in 2025 by $10 per household. This will comes out to a 1.9% increase which will offset the overage that the Board is expecting in 2024 due to storm damage and unexpected equipment repairs, as well as save money towards a couple capital projects that are coming down the pipeline.
The Brick Wall project is moving forward. Our next step is to submit an application to the City of Sugar Land for a Fun Grant to recover a portion of the costs to install the brick wall. We have recently learned, however, that due to a project that will impact Austin Parkway, funds may not be approved for the grant. In that case, SPHOA would have to fund the entire wall. We will share more information with you as it becomes available.
The Board is also hoping to put the green space around the pool to some use, but this will take some exploration to see what the options are and how much they cost. While nothing may come of this, but the Board wants to explore the options that could be available.
Electrical Work was done to the Clubhouse, Pool Facilities, Tennis Courts, and the Monuments to make sure everything is functioning properly for our residents.
